Description

Two little bear ears make this simple quilt instantly lovable. It’s thin and rectangular, stitched in four wide channels, and comes with a matching round pillow.

You’ve probably spotted it in our baby nest photos: sage green with a fawn or woodland print, soft blue, white, or cream with a gray pillow. Lay the quilt on the floor as a play mat during awake time or tuck it over little legs in the stroller, and keep the pillow as a decorative piece for the nursery. For babies under 12 months, both stay out of the sleep space.

Our team cuts and sews each set in our own workshop to order. It’s a sweet add-on to a nest or a baby shower gift, and easy for family abroad to send ahead of the baby’s arrival.

  • Keep the quilt and pillow out of your baby's sleep space for the first 12 months.
  • For every sleep, lay your baby on their back in a crib or bassinet with a firm, flat mattress and nothing else in it.
  • As a play mat: on the floor only, while your baby is awake and an adult is right there.
  • The pillow is a decorative piece: never use it to support, prop or shape a baby's head.
  • Never put the quilt or pillow inside a baby nest while your baby is in it.
  • Check seams and ears before each use and stop using if anything is loose or torn.

Is it sold separately or only with a nest?

Can my baby sleep with the quilt?

Not in the first 12 months. For sleep, the crib or bassinet should have only a firm, flat mattress and a fitted sheet; for warmth at night, a wearable sleep sack is the usual recommendation.

What is the round pillow for?

It's a decorative piece that matches the quilt and our nests. It isn't a head support or positioner, so keep it away from your baby during sleep and out of the nest.
